Polygon (MATIC)

What is Polygon (MATIC)?

Polygon (Formally MATIC Network) is an L2 scaling solution for Ethereum. It uses PoS (Proof-of-Stake) to achieve low fees and faster transaction times than ETH.

What is MATIC?

MATIC is the native token of Polygon. It is used to pay network fees when processing transactions on-chain. Users are required to hold sufficient amounts of MATIC to pay for fees when placing bets on bookmaker.XYZ. The average transaction fee is approximately $0.01 - $0.02 but can change based on network congestion.

What is USDT?

USDT is a stablecoin pegged to the US Dollar 1:1. All bets placed are placed, and redeemed. in USDT.

Where can I get MATIC and USDC?

Bridge

The second, and probably the easiest option for most crypto-savvy users is to use a bridge. A bridge involves "bridging" an asset from one chain to another. Bridging from BSC <> Polygon, Gnosis <> Polygon, Ethereum <> Polygon.

You can bridge directly from within bookmaker.XYZ by using the funding tab.

bookmaker.XYZ uses Hop Protocol to facilitate bridging. Hop supports bridging from Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Gnosis Chain
