💸Gnosis Chain (xDAI) Guide

Gnosis Chain offers barely noticeable network fees, fast transaction speeds with a unique dual token model.

• Please note that Ethereum is one of the more expensive chains to bridge to and from. Gas prices fluctuate greatly in times of volatility and certain on-chain events. Use Etherscan to check gas prices before proceeding. If you would like a cheaper option, we would recommend using Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism, these chains' fees are minimal.

bookmaker.XYZ is an Azuro Protocol front-end operator. Azuro Protocol supports 2 chains, the following guide will show you how to get xDAI on Gnosis Chain. The Azuro liquidity pools on Gnosis are comprised of xDAI and all bets are placed, and redeemed, in xDAI. You will need to obtain xDAI to place bets on the bookmaker.XYZ

At this time xDAI and Gnosis Chain is not widely supported by the major T1 CEXs. You will need to obtain xDAI using the following methods

Option 1 - Buying xDAI with Fiat

You can buy xDAI using fiat directly on bookmaker.XYZ using the funding tab.

This is facilitated by Mt.Perelin which lets users buy, and sell crypto, directly with a credit/debit card without the need for KYC.

We don't store any personal information when using the funding tab, this is all handled directly by Mt.Perelin we just provide a UI.

Option 2 - Swap and Bridge

1. Swap existing tokens to DAI using the integrated DEX on bookmaker.XYZ. We have integrated 1Inch for swapping.

2. Bridge DAI from source chain to Gnosis chain using the integrated bridge on bookmaker.XYZ. We use Hop Protocol to facilitate bridging. Hop supports bridging from Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Polygon.
