What is a Free Bet?
A free bet is an NFT that can be redeemed on bookmaker.XYZ for an entirely free bet on any market. In the future, we may apply conditions to the free bets so they can only be used on specific sports, markets, or events.
Free bets are collateralized 1:1. You keep the profit from the wager but not the wager itself.
Example:
You received a $10 Free Bet and bet on odds of 2.0 and win. You get to keep $10.
How do I earn a Free Bet NFT?
Free bets are earned through different promotions. Join Discord and follow our Twitter account, all promotions are posted there.
These are sent from the free bet contract addresses which you can see above.
You can view the free bet on GnosisScan/Polyscan by going to the ERC721 section. The symbol for this is XFBET. Unused free bets are burned once the expiry date is up.
How do I use a Free Bet?
If you have received a free bet you will see a pop-up on the screen when you connect to bookmaker.XYZ. This will popup will be visible once.
Select an outcome you would like to bet on.
The betting slip will load and display the free bet in the betting slip.
If you don't want to use the free bet right away, simply select the "X" and this will remove the free bet from the betting slip.
If you would like to use it on your next bet. Select an outcome and then select "Apply Bonus" to use the free bet.
Select "Place Bet" and confirm the transaction on-chain (You still need to pay the gas on this transaction).
All free bets have an expiry date. This is typically between 3 - 7 days. Make sure you use your free bet before the expiry that is displayed.
